As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, the Barista demonstrates active patient advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every patient. The Barista encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary customer service at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the Barista.

Barista Job Functions:

• Greet customers with a positive attitude.
• Mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, tea, blended fruit drinks, etc.
• May prepare and sell food items
• Arrange and stock bar/cart supplies
• Perform register duties and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, organization and food handling techniques
• Requires physical ability to stand for long periods of time. Frequently push/pull and may lift up to 35 pounds 

Barista Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum Experience: Some experience in the food industry
• Preferred Experience: 1or more years of Barista and or food service experience
