Locations: Noblesville and Westfield

Shifts: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and 11:30 am to 8 pm

Added shift pay after 3pm: 10% / Weekends 20%

As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, the Food and Nutrition Associate demonstrates active patient advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every patient. The Food and Nutrition Associate encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary customer service at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the Food and Nutrition Associate.

Food and Nutrition Associate Job Functions:

• Prepare and deliver patient trays
• Assist in stocking pantries and taking inventory and moving needed supplies.
• Perform register duties, cash handling and counting/math, recording.
• Maintain cleanliness, meet sanitation requirements, and keep work areas organized. Familiarity with food handling techniques is desired.
• Ability to push tray carts throughout the hospital.
• May assist to clean dishes, food carts, pots and pans, silverware, and other kitchen tools in a sanitary fashion.
• Flexible to participate in a variety of kitchen duties.
• Delivers a customer focused experience and participates an in a teamwork environment.

 Food and Nutrition Associate Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Education: High school diploma plus some college or advanced classes
• Minimum Experience: Some experience in the food industry
• Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of food service experience
