As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, the Food and Nutrition Cashier Associate demonstrates active patient advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every patient. The Food and Nutrition Cashier Associate encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary customer service at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the Food and Nutrition cashier Associate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service with a smile!
• Interact and communicate with patients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Knowledgeable of point of sale and credit card processing. Able to execute cash handling successfully.
• Basic math skills and knowledge including the ability to calculate numbers, correct entries, count, and reconcile cash drawers/banks.
• Able to meet sanitation and cleanliness in cafeteria areas. Able to apply food service standards to serve guests in the café.
• May assist with stocking and inventory for work areas.
• Provides support to the retail operations, including set-up, maintain supplies and products, brewing and maintaining coffee machines and assisting in clean up and closedown.
• Demonstrates good organizational skills, able to multitask, with the ability to set priorities and or change them as needed.
