Added Shift Pay: After 3pm 10%, After 11 pm 15%, and Weekends 20%

As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, the Housekeeper demonstrates active patient advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every patient. The Housekeeper encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary housekeeping services at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the Housekeeper.

Housekeeper Job Functions:

• Clean Riverview Health in a sanitary, productive and attractive manner
• Provide linen to all departments as needed
• Clean and report repair needs of existing furniture
• Infection control practices for disinfecting all surfaces
• Proper collection and disposal and general and medical waste
• Maintain regulatory agency inspection readiness at all times
• Record keeping, participate in performance improvement.
• Other duties: inventory, supply movement, stocking, other.

Housekeeper Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education: High School 
• Minimum Experience: Cleaning experience, residential or commercial
• Preferred Experience: housekeeping experience in a healthcare field
