As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, MRI Tech demonstrates active patient advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every patient. The MRI Tech encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary patient care services at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the MRI Tech. 
 
MRI Tech Job Functions:

• Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
• Explain procedure to patient, position and immobilize patient on exam table.
• Must assist the radiologist in viewing and reconstructing images.
• Must archive daily information into the computer.
• Must coordinate the schedule for the MRI patients.

MRI Tech Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT
• Preferred Education: American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Magnetic Resonance
• Minimum Experience: Atleast 6 months of MRI experience
• Other Requirements: CPR and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
