As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, the Pharmacy Technician demonstrates active patient advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every patient. The Pharmacy Technician encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary customer service at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the Pharmacy Technician.

Retail Pharmacy Technician II Job Functions:

• Assist Pharmacist in all phases of the medication distribution process
• Assist in filling medication orders
• Check received drug shipments against invoice
• Perform clerical duties
• Stock Pharmacy medication and supplies
• Facilitate pick up of medication from other pharmacies
• Place daily order to drug wholesaler

 Retail Pharmacy Technician II Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education: High School diploma or the equivalent and pharmacy technician licensure
• Minimum Experience: Pharmacy Tech licensure
• Preferred Experience: 1 year of Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.
