Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Level of Education

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics; Registered Dietitian Certification
• Preferred: Post graduate classes or advanced training in Dietetics, CDE, 1-2 years in employer and community wellness programming experience. Certified Wellness Coach through WellCoaches.
• 
  Level of Experience

• Minimum: 1-2 years one-on-one and group nutritional counseling, educational presentation experience.
• Preferred: Experience with body composition testing and program development.

• Type of Specialty Certification or other Licensure, if required: - Current Indiana License as an RD

POSITION SUMMARY

• The Wellness Dietitian will provide nutritional counseling to internal Riverview Health employees and external patients and clients.
• Internal: Nutritional counseling and wellness coaching to Riverview Health employees and spouses.
• External: Nutritional counseling at employer-based clinics, onsite primary care practices as needed, at worksites of client organizations, through the Riverview Health Body Knowledge program and for the self-pay nutritional counseling program.
• The Wellness Dietitian will manage and facilitate the Body Knowledge program (sales, program development, clientele sessions, reporting, quality, etc.).
• The Wellness Dietitian will assist members of the wellness team in creating, implementing and evaluating wellness programming internally for Riverview Health and for external clients.
• The Wellness Dietitian will provide internal and external nutritional expertise in group presentation settings.
• The Wellness Dietitian will assist in health screening events (internal and external).
• The Wellness Dietitian can assist other Riverview Health departments to provide nutritional/dietetic needs.
