CT Tech/Rad Tech II FT Nights $5000 Sign On Bonus!

• Performs patient examinations in specialized area, specifically CT scanning. May perform duties as a staff technologist in Diagnostic X-Ray or other areas as required.

• Must produce images using CT scanner.
• Must assist Radiologist in viewing and reconstructing images.
• Must archive daily information into computer.
• Must keep records of examinations performed.
• Must provide for the emotional and physical comfort and safety or patient.
• Must observe and report general physical and mental condition of patients for signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change.
• Must provide a clean and safe environment.
• Supervises students as required.
• Must provide monthly statistics as required, and contribute to QA and CQI.
• Must perform other related duties as designated by the Director.
• Must comply with all applicable policies and procedures, including, but not limited to: all departmental and functional policy and procedure, maintaining acceptable attendance records, arriving for duty punctually, and following dress code.
• Must participate in performance improvement activities as requested.
• Must assume information management responsibilities.
• Must have knowledge and skills pertinent to the functional approach to patient care.
• Must perform duties as an active member of the healthcare team.
• Must demonstrate a knowledge of team dynamics and contribute to team building and skills related to participation in and strengthening of the multidisciplinary team approach to the delivery of patient care.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Must be able to work overtime and be available for call.
• Must be able to work both weekdays and weekends as well as holidays as requested.
• Is responsible for making independent and sound decisions in providing care including life threatening situations.
• Uses independent judgement in setting priorities.
• Must set priorities for self and others.
• Must assess patient's needs and determine appropriate interventions.
• Must be able to verbalize when tasks need to be delegated to other staff members.
• Requires the ability to work independently and make sound judgements with minimal supervision.
• Must exercise judgement in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures to assure compliance with state, federal, and local requirements.
