As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, the School Nurse (RN) for Westfield School District demonstrates active student advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every student. The School Nurse (RN) encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary patient care services at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the School Nurse (RN).

School Nurse (RN) Job Functions:

• Provide preventative, maintenance and acute care health services to students
• Gather patient assessment information
• Provide special need procedures as required
• Support the education process by working to assure the health of students

School Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Graduate of a nursing program and current RN licensure in the state of Indiana
• Minimum Experience: Previous pediatric patient care experience
• Other Requirements: RN license in the state of Indiana and CPR
