CNA Certified Nursing Assistant - Nights Med/Surg

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Riverview Health is caring, patient, detail oriented and demonstrates physical and emotional strength in their work with patients in the inpatient, hospital setting. The CNA contributes to successful patient outcomes through delivery of outstanding customer service as a key member of the healthcare delivery team.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Functions:
- Assist with routine hygienic, nutritional and comfort needs
- Perform routine clinical tests
- Perform basic nursing tasks such as answer call lights, transport patient, assist with range of motion, etc.
- Observe, document and communicate significant findings.

Job Requirements:
Education Requirements:
- Minimum: High School Diploma and graduate of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA ) program
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum: None
- Preferred: CNA for 1year in a hospital environment
Licensure / Certification Requirements
- Minimum: Certified Nurse Aid Certification from an accredited course and Basic Life Safety (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
